WOW THE WORLD (c-variety): Back to it and this is as hysterical as ever. I know I said there’s too much stupid games… but they are stupidly fun as well! Or maybe I’m losing braincells progressively along with the cast)))
GLOSSY MAKJANG LOVE’S AMBITION: I’m afraid I was too quick to label it better than TSOPG. When FL suddenly became a better caretaker to very sick grandma she never know before than entire army of medical professionals hired by said grandma’s genuinely loving billionaire guardian, I facepalmed until bruises. Seriously, drama, we’re going “am I… better than everyone at everything?” route again? Yikes. Plenty of other similarities too: questionable whirlwind romance, big nasty breakup mid-story, even same actor playing “only there to temporarily pose as competition” SML actor, someone pls save the poor guy from this thankless fate! You know what other show this year it also reminds me? BURIED HEARTS with all its glittery and stylish soap ridiculousness, only instead of endless lives supply of ML there here FL has an endless wardrobe as her main plot armor and weapon))) You know what, these two could’ve make an interesting pair of messy menaces, much better than with their respective OTPs…
